With Zhi Tian Nan Xi, Fang Feng and Tian Ma, for tetanus, muscle spasms and stiffness of the neck and opisthotonis with clenched jaws.
Rz. Arisaematis* Zhi Tian Nan Xing 6-30g Disperses Wind-Phlegm in the channels, stops spasms and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng, Bai Zhi and Tian Ma, for muscular tetany with lockjaw and opisthotonis.
Rz. seu Rx. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 6-30g Expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, unblocks painful obstruction and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng, for Wind-Dampness.
Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi 6-30g Expels Wind, eliminates Dampness, dispels Cold and alleviates pain.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 6-30g Expels Internal Wind, stops spasms and
alleviates pain.
With Tian Nan Xing, for headache, generalized body aches and numbness due to Wind-Phlegm Obstructing the channels.
With Tian Nan Xing, Tian Ma and Bai Fu Zi, for opisthotonis, trismus, spasms and convulsions due to Liver Wind.
Rz. Gastrodiae Tian Ma 6-30g Extinguishes Wind, calms the Liver, stops spasms and tremors, subdues Rising Liver Yang and alleviates pain.
With Tian Nan Xing and Bai Fu Zi, for tetany and opisthotonis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND HERB/DRUG INTERACTIONS

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • * Bai Fu Zi and Tian Nan Xing are very toxic and should be used with extreme caution.
  • Contraindicated during pregnancy.
  • Contraindicated for those with Body Fluid or Yin Deficiency.
  • Do not take long-term.
  • Do not use for advanced-stage muscular tetany.
  • If severe hemorrhaging occurs due to trauma, modify with Blood nourishing and sinew relaxing herbs.
HERB/DRUG INTERACTIONS

NOTES

  • Grind the ingredients into a powder and take in 3g doses with hot wine.
  • The powder may be mixed with grain-based liquor and applied topically to the affected area.
  • For kyphosis, administer 9g mixed with Infantis Urina Tong Bian.
  • For dog bites, wash the affected area with clean water and apply to the affected area.
